Questions answered
Straight answers on scope, fees, timelines and outcomes
If something you need is not covered here, the case desk will answer it directly, without adding you to a follow-up sequence.
Getting started
Before you submit anything
Yes. You submit the matter, an analyst reads it in full and you receive a written assessment. Around a third of these conclude that no documented route remains, and no fee is charged for reaching that conclusion.
Approximate dates and amounts, how each payment was made, the names or handles of counterparties, any platform or account references, and whatever correspondence you still hold. Missing items are fine, part of the first review is telling you which gaps are worth closing.
Yes, and as early as possible, regardless of the amount. A bank case reference and a police or regulator reference materially help institutional intake later, and reporting is free.
Both. Business matters are usually invoice redirection or executive impersonation, and often include a short control review alongside the documentation work.
Fees and scope
What things cost and why
There is one rate: 5% of the amount we recover for you. The first review is free, the rate is written into the engagement letter you sign, and it is charged only on funds that actually reach your account. Nothing renews automatically.
Yes. Our fee is 5% of any amount recovered for you, charged once the money arrives in your own account. If nothing is recovered there is no fee. That does not change the honest position on outcomes: we never promise or predict a recovery, and many well documented matters end without one.
Never. If anyone contacts you claiming to be from SCO Management and requests an urgent fee to release funds, it is not us. Stop and contact SCO Management through the address published on this site.
Yes. Every engagement has explicit stop points. You decide at each one whether to continue, and you keep the deliverables produced up to that point.
Outcomes and expectations
The part most firms are vague about
No, and nobody honest can. We do not guarantee, promise or predict any recovery. Outcomes depend on the facts, the evidence, the jurisdictions, the counterparties and the applicable legal and regulatory processes. Many well documented matters conclude with no financial recovery.
It is an internal working objective for how long a phase usually takes, nothing more. It is not a forecast, a commitment or an expected result, and third party response times routinely move it.
Not necessarily, but time changes what exists. Records have retention limits and some notification windows close. Older matters lean more heavily on the material you personally kept.
We will tell you that during the review rather than billing you to discover it slowly. Where no practical route exists, the honest deliverable is a documented file and a clear explanation.
Privacy and safety
How your information is handled
They are stored outside the public web root, accessible to the assigned lead and reviewer only, and retained for the agreed period before deletion or return.
No. Not at intake, not during analysis, not ever. If you receive such a request in our name, it is fraudulent.
No. All contact begins with you. Unsolicited calls or messages offering recovery are a recognised re-victimisation pattern.
Yes, with your written authority naming who may receive information about the file.
What we are
An analyst led documentation and coordination practice. We reconstruct, evidence, package and support, and we publish our limits.
What we are not
Not a law firm, bank, insurer or public authority. We do not litigate, freeze accounts, hold client funds or give legal, tax or investment advice.
