How SCO Management works within the rules that apply to investigative casework, client data and financial dispute support.
Last updated: September 2026
What we are and are not
SCO Management provides investigative analysis, evidence documentation and coordination support. We are not a law firm, a bank, a licensed insurer, a claims management company acting on your behalf in regulated proceedings, or a public authority. We do not hold client money and we never receive recovered funds on your behalf: any recovery is paid to your own account by the institution concerned.
Client onboarding checks
Before an engagement opens we verify your identity and, for corporate clients, the authority of the person instructing us. We record the source of the material supplied and confirm that it is lawfully in your possession. Matters that would require unlawful access to systems, accounts or personal data are declined.
Where a matter shows indicators of money laundering, sanctions exposure or proceeds of crime, we stop, document the position and, where required, report it through the appropriate channel.
Fee transparency
The first case review is free. Where funds are recovered as a result of our work, our fee is 5% of the amount actually recovered, invoiced only after the money reaches your account. If nothing is recovered, no fee is payable. Fees, scope and stop points are set out in writing before any work begins.
Data protection
Case material is processed on a lawful basis, kept to the minimum needed for the engagement, stored outside the public web root, restricted to the assigned lead and reviewer, and deleted or returned at closure on request. Full detail is in our privacy policy.
Evidence handling
Original files are preserved unaltered, working copies are used for analysis, and each substantive step is logged with a date and an owner so a file can be handed to counsel or an authority intact.
Complaints
Send complaints to complaint@scomgmt.com. We acknowledge within two business days, give a named reviewer who was not involved in the matter, and reply in writing with our findings and next steps.
Anti fraud commitments
We never cold call people who have lost money, never request passwords, seed phrases, one time codes or full card numbers, and never ask for an upfront payment to release funds. Any contact in our name doing so is fraudulent and should be reported to us.
